Description

Model 15GMHU-20-L, rebuilt by MRF in 2023 and only operated for approximately two months after the rebuild. The line consists of a new (2023) 6,000 lb. x 16" wide non-powered pull-off style uncoiler with manual mandrel expansion, 16"–20" coil I.D. capacity, (3) coil keepers, and pneumatic drag brake with regulator; a 19-stand rollformer featuring 1.500" diameter spindles with 3/8" keyways, 2.000" diameter spindles with 1/2" keyways on the second stand, recommended maximum material thickness of 0.048" mild steel, 20" roll space, 15" horizontal center distance, equal geared construction, 6.5" lower spindle center height, 6.25"–7.75" vertical adjustment range, 20 HP DC drive, operating speed of 25–35 FPM (capable of 250 FPM with a different drive), hardened and ground grease-lubricated gears, heavy-duty precision machined steel plate main blocks, Timken-style taper roller bearings, fabricated outboard supports with cylinder roller bearings, micrometer-style adjustment screws with thrust bearings and dial indicators, perimeter end guards with electrically interlocked hinged roll guarding, standard entry feed vise, full welded heavy-wall tube and steel plate base with 1-1/2" machined top plate, requiring 480V/3 Phase/60 Hz power; and a new (2023) Model VHCO-202-4PV Heavy Duty Mechanical Press with 18-ton capacity, 4-post underslung mechanical design, integral mechanical accelerator system, 18.75" maximum die width, 3" stroke, 4" cross and height adjustment, 25–35 FPM operating range, dual cam linkage system, 5 HP drive motor, low air consumption clutch and brake, hardened die rails, approximately 5-minute die change capability, automatic PLC-controlled lubrication system with dual quick-connect die feeds, Mitsubishi PLC controls with interactive operator interface and production counter, freestanding control enclosure, electrically interlocked guarding, continuous cycling capability, and adjustable working height from approximately 38"–42". Removed and currently in storage.
